February / March Update..
February has seen us balancing winter sea conditions with valuable time on the water. We’ve been enjoying regular rows from Rock, making the most of the more settled estuary conditions, and doing focused training for the Three Rivers Race and the World Pilot Gig Championships in the Isles of Scilly at the end of April, supported by the brilliant guidance of our experienced coaches and crew. Winter fitness training is well underway at Port Isaac Rowing Club, with two sessions a week keeping us strong through the colder months – one at Hawksfield Gym and another at the Village Hall.
